1. AC Input & Protection Stage

   • MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor): Safeguards against voltage spikes and power surges.

   • EMI Filter (Inductor & Capacitor): Reduces electromagnetic interference coming from or going into the mains supply.

2. Rectification & Filtering Stage

   • Bridge Rectifier: Converts incoming alternating current (AC) into pulsating direct current (DC).

   • Main Filter Capacitor: A high-voltage electrolytic capacitor that smooths the pulsating DC into a stable high-voltage DC bus.

3. Switching & Regulation Stage

   • Switching MOSFET / Power IC: Rapidly chops the high-voltage DC to create high-frequency pulses.

• +12V: Powers the LNB (Low-Noise Block downconverter) via the coaxial cable for the satellite dish, and powers audio amplifier circuits or cooling fans if present.

• +5V: Powers USB ports, general logic components, and peripheral ICs.

• +3.3V: Powers the main processor (SoC), flash memory, and RAM.

• +24V / 5V (Alternate rails): Found on some models to drive specific display panels or tuner sub-circuits.
